Smash Documentary: Road to the New Era is an ongoing documentary series produced by Shogun. It documents the history of the Japanese Smash community from Smash 64 to the present day, with arcs that specifically focused on Brawl, Smash 4, and Ultimate.
The first episode was released on October 4th, 2023 on Shogun's YouTube channel, with each subsequent episode releasing every week. English subtitles were also provided, translated by Naru and Sean from School.
