Super Smash Bros. winners Peru Gerson 1v1

Arequipa was the Peruvian Super Smash Bros. super regional of 2011. It's probably the first national-level Peruvian tournament featuring all top players from Lima, Arequipa and Tacna.

The structure of this tournament is largely assumed based off of available VODs and VOD descriptions. The main tournament used a single-elimination bracket with best-of-five sets. However, the final three players participated in a "triangular final", where they played each other. All matches took place on Hyrule Castle.

Gerson won both sets in "Triangular Final" 3-2 against Marka and Alvin. Since the winner was already settled, Alvin and Marka didn't play the final match, leaving them tied for place 2.
