Umebura 8 was Japan's first Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS super regional tournament, held by Ayuha in Tokyo, Japan, during September 23rd, 2014. It was the eighth tournament in the Umebura series. The event was played using a 2-stock ruleset, and featured a single elimination bracket. The livestream for the event was provided by SHI-Gaming.
Nietono, using Greninja, won the tournament by defeating Aile and Abadango. A set to determine the third placer was played, with Aile defeating RAIN to win said set.
