I think we ought to list the tracks in a table with four columns: track name, the game it originates from, the original composer, and the arranger. Since these are all covered on the Dojo and in the sound test option, it seems appropriate to have them credited as such in this article. :I agree. I'll look into how the table for [[List of Pokemon]] can work in this page. Thoughts I have are that the section about the game it originates from is the main detailed section of each track item, having the info like the musics in the SSBM music page have, and that each Universe should be it's own table to make it more dividedly organized and make it easier to edit, and that there shouldn't be a separate table/section for the Melee music because they should go to their respective Universe pages. I think I'll try doing that right now for one of the universes as an example. [[User:Erik the Appreciator|Erik, Lord of Universes]] 23:25, February 26, 2008 (EST) |

I've got a question.
Is the music going to be fully orchesrated or midi? Thanks.--Djcs410319 12:30, August 24, 2007 (EDT)
- Well, since most of the music is not dependent upon game events, I'd say that a good majority of the game's music is recorded live. (Except for the songs that clearly are not made by acoustic instruments, i.e., original tracks from old games.) MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface, for anyone reading this who doesn't know what MIDI is) is useful in game events where the music changes based on what's happening. For example, in Twilight Princess, a lot of the music is high-quality MIDI, so that when Link approches an enemy or gets on Epona (his horse), the music changes to reflect in-game actions. Likewise, on the Summit stage, the music changes depending on the current state of the iceberg. -Dogman15 20:02, February 26, 2008 (EST)
Musicians.
The musicians section on the Smash Bros Dojo contains musicians from other video games, such as Kingdom Hearts, Devil May Cry and Chrono Trigger. Could this possibly foreshadow some elements from these games appearing in Brawl? E.g. assists, items, or dare I say it, characters? Or just music? M Shark 14:55, November 11, 2007 (EST)
- Not really musicians are only hired for music and they normally don't own any right in the games that they compose, for example the composer of smashbros brawl main theme was only hired for that song. (and he has worked in final fantasy and kingdom hearts music.)--Fandangox 18:34, November 11, 2007 (EST)
- Oh, I know, but I was just thinking, why would they hire musicians and mention the game soundtracks they've composed and not include them? Although, come to think of it, it's probably just like a resume of their work, showing us what they're capable of.M Shark 19:05, November 11, 2007 (EST)
