Ludwig Ahgren Championship Series 5 is an upcoming Super Smash Bros. Melee invitational tournament held from July 7th-9th, 2023 by YouTube streamer Ludwig. It will be the first tournament in the series to be held in-person, being in Covina, California. 12 players were directly invited to tournament, and 4 more players will qualify from an open Open Qualifier on July 7th. After the final 16 players are decided, a group stage will be held on July 8th-9th, followed by the Top 8 final bracket on July 9th. The prize pool is $50,001, which is the ninth largest prize pool for a Melee tournament.
Format
