Boss Battle 4 was a Super Smash Bros. exclusive tournament held in Indianapolis on September 28th-30th, 2018. As with prior Boss Battle tournaments, smashers from outside of the Mid-West were sponsored, notably players from Baja California such as SOMBRERO and Derek from Canada. Along with regular singles and doubles, several other events were done as per other years including a return of character crew battles, regular and SPK doubles, YOLO Bracket, and J (character locked) bracket.
