When the match starts, Kirby will spawn on the Great Fox's tail on the right side of the stage, while the CPU Kirbys spawn on the left side of the stage. Attacks and thrown items will will pass through each character without causing any damage, hitstun, knockback, or hitlag. The selection of items is limited to the Warp Star, and the CPU Kirbys can only be KO'd with the Warp Star. The CPU Kirbys will not attack the player's Kirby; instead, they will walk back and forth.
