For Ness, it's more of a nitpick of mine. I know the cyan outfit have a [https://wikibound.info/wiki/Master_Belch Master Belch] print, but I think it should change the wording as ''the color scheme and the print of this costume is themed around Master Belch and his stronger second form, [https://wikibound.info/wiki/Master_Barf Master Barf]'' as they have colors that matches the whole outfit. Ignoring the cyan like green color, red it's found both for Master Belch's lips (a brown-ish red) and the body of Master Barf body (looking at the overworld sprite; a very red pink) that the shirt, pants and some parts of the shoes have. On the other hand the front part of the cap also have a purple color, similar of that of Master Barf lips or even the blue-ish color of Master Belch clay model. == Incineroar's Shiny Rewording ==
The text for Incineroar's shiny palette in the page says "Resembles its shiny coloration.", and I'm asking if it could be changed with "Based on its shiny coloration, with a black torso instead of gray.", because I think unlike the other shiny palettes, this one is intentionally looking like the actual shiny (because of the white fur), while the other shiny palettes are harder to confirm because they look more like compromises of limited color swapping.
I've seen people claim that Incineroar's shiny alt isn't accurate just because of this article (Aaronitmar's video mainly) and I think it should be changed to state that alt is absolutely the shiny form.
It's technically not accurate because they actually made the color of the chest change unlike the real shiny, but I think that's easy to overlook since the important parts of the palette is kept intact.

Chrom's Black costume
While there is little difference to default Chrom, I think the black costume is based on his portrait in-game, concept art and even his overworld sprite in Fire Emblem Awakening. DoctaShield (talk) 16:09, September 19, 2021 (EDT)
Samus's Green alts
It could be posible that Zero Suit Samus white and green alts are based on the monochromatic and original screen color of the Game Boy in her appearance in Metroid II: Return of Samus. That could also add a little to the normal Samus green alt. On the other hand adding Dark Samus (who is the reincarnated form of Metroid Prime, a mutated Metroid) to the mix, Metroids are primarily of color green with red parts (like Samus green costume) and even some have blue parts (example Queen Metroid) just like in Dark Samus's costume. DoctaShield (talk) 02:54, October 19, 2021 (EDT)
Ike Purple alt
I think his costume is lightly based on Micaiah from Fire Emblem: Radiant Dawn, mostly because both have a shirt of color purple with small stripes of pink. I can barely see it right, but the color of the bandana Ike uses is a shade of blue just like Micaiah's scarf and hair ornament. The only thing that is weird is the boots where Ike's are red with some light brown strings hanging out while Micaiah is light brown boots with red strings. For this I consider her important because she is the protagonist of this game as well as Ike is. DoctaShield (talk) 03:43, October 19, 2021 (EDT)
Sora's P7 Costume
Unlike his P6 Costume which is nearly, if not entirely, 1-to-1 with his Valor Form from KH2, Sora's P7 Costume is actually a cross between Wisdom Form and his KH3D outfit, using the KH3D outfit as the base with Wisdom Form's color scheme and flame marks. So basically, it's what Wisdom Form would have looked like if KH2's Drive Forms were in KH3D. 192.208.172.127 07:04, October 19, 2021 (EDT)
Ice Climbers
Considering the limits of what the original game offers, I got some ideas from where some colors might be based on. One thing that the game offers you with a variety of colors are vegetables. This are for futher reference: the sprites and the Brawl Trophy.
Green: Based on Cucumber (or Cabbage but i feel cucumber have a more darker shade of green) and Corn. The combination could also reflect the lower heighs of the mountain in the game being of the color green and a light orange with yellow.
Brown: Based on Mushroom and Potato, if we consider potatoes having a more gray-ish shade than a brown but could also represent Topi, an enemy from the international release of the game considering the white/light gray color of the furr and the yellow arms and feets just like the boots and mittens of both of them.
Orange: Based on the Pumpkin (or Carrots) and Eggplant, this combination could also reflect the levels where the Eggplant appears being hold by the Condor who is orange. Also some levels in the Arcade version of the game, in some heighs change to purple and a dark orange.
Blue & indigo: This could reference the different shades of blue used for anything ice related in the sprite work as well as the Title screen logo and Popo's results screen. For INDIGO, Popo resembles colors in the sprite of the Eggplant which used dark blue and purple just like the parka and mittens respectively. DoctaShield (talk) 00:29, October 20, 2021 (EDT)
Marth Red costume
I was serching for ideas of why even though Marth RED costume have a black shirt instead of a red one. I searched on who or what could reference within his games outside of Enemy Units. A character who also is in the status of royalty just like Marth is Minerva. While most of her old apparences feature her in mostly red with some legwear in black or dark red to brown, in Mystery of the Emblem you can see she is totally red and darker red on some parts while in the Trading Card Game and Shadow Dragon looks a bit more brown so the only thing that she does not have is black shirt, but in the book Fire Emblem The Complete, a piece of artwork shows this desing featuring a the black shirt, yellow to orange details and even have a red cape even tho the green stone ornament is still red for Marth. Some purple details can be seen in Marth (boots straps and the other side of the cape) probably evoking a bit of Minerva's (cape?) in the past two references but also her design in Shadow Dragon and the Blade of Light in which she was wearing completely purple. I believe this could be the reference all along since Melee because the book cameout in 1996 and the TCG is probably that old too since it only covered games of the SNES era. Star Fox in general
All the Orange alts: Artwork of Fox and Falco in Star Fox. This also includes Wolf being based on Fox.
Fox
White: Might resemble Bill in Star Fox 64 and Star Fox 64 3D and the Cornerian Fighter.
Yellow: Also resembles Slippy in Star Fox Assault and Star Fox Command.
Falco
Green: Resembles Falco in Star Fox Adventures.
Blue: Resembles the colors of the Arwing, Slippy in Star Fox (most games minus Assault and Command) and recently Fay in Star Fox 2.
Pink: Resembles Katt color scheme in Star Fox 64, Star Fox Zero and some cutscenes in Star Fox Command.
- PD: HERE a link for a picture of Starlink Wolf from their wiki if needed. Edit: Forgot to sign in the first place DoctaShield (talk) 01:04, October 21, 2021 (EDT)
Dr. Mario's Purple costume
His Purple color possibly takes inspiration of the Purple Checkboard background in the original Dr. Mario game on the NES, due his coat is purple and gloves are almost black. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.93.60.77 (talk • contribs) 19:56, October 21, 2021 (EDT)
Also, his necktie is orange, matching with the display window in-game. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.93.60.77 (talk • contribs) 17:41, October 25, 2021 (EDT)
Ganondorf (some ideas)
Violet: Might represent Gerudo Guards in Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. Choose this because this alt still have red in the outfit as the Gerudo's outfit does.
Green: Might represent Gerudo Warriors in Ocarina of Time as a texture glitch matches Link's tunic even tho in Majora's Mask Gerudo Pirates are also found in light green with no glitch linked to it. Ganondorf have a Koholint armor that matches more this alt in Hyrule Warriors Legends. Easily could reference Farore, the goddess of Courage and whom Link's triforce is well... linked.
Purple: Because of the clothes being purple as a whole, it might represent Din as she appears in Ocarina of Time. She is the goddess of Power, the same part of the triforce that Ganondorf got in that game. Yuga Ganon might also work as his Lorule armor in Hyrule Warriors Legends is purple. Yuga himself also mostly wears Purple.
Brown: as extra, brown is also the color of Ganon in The Legend of Zelda when gets weakened. The sprite is here. DoctaShield (talk) 02:39, October 22, 2021 (EDT)
Captain Falcon
The black costume also appeared later on in as an alt in F-Zero GX/AX as an alternate color for him. DoctaShield (talk) 20:44, October 22, 2021 (EDT)
Kid Icarus series
Pit
Yellow - Based on the Centurions artwork from the Instruction Booklet of Kid Icarus where they are depicted mostly yellow albeit named "Centurian" in the manual and in Japan they are named "Icarus".
Blue - Also resembles some artworks in Instruction Booklet of Kid Icarus.
White - Could be a reference to Centurion Strongarm that have white boots and golden helmet (interpreted as the hair?).
Dark Pit
Green - Might resemble Thanatos green color scheme in Kid Icarus.
Yellow - Same as Pit.
Red - Resembles Twinbellows in Uprising being dark red and yellow flames with the back bones being white just as Dark Pit's wings.
Blue - Might also resemble Pandora, as she was the one who created him (in a way) and using her power to fly later on.
Palutena
Blue - Resembles herself in the Instruction Booklet of Kid Icarus. Also resembles Pandora.
BTW, I linked to an official pdf of the KI instruction booklet by Nintendo so I don't know if the link will work or is right to be referenced here. DoctaShield (talk) 01:26, October 26, 2021 (EDT)
Bowser's P5 (Grey) Costume
Isn't there the possibility that it's been inspired by Shigeru Miyamoto's original artwork for Super Mario Bros.? Kusanagi (talk) 14:43, October 27, 2021 (EDT)
- Well, it cannot be because the Super Mario Bros. artwork was previously referenced in Brawl as a the Blue skin along side the grey one. Bowser's Alternate Costumes in Brawl DoctaShield (talk) 01:32, October 30, 2021 (EDT)
Colors for some
Bowser: "Orange" also matches up with artwork of him between the NES and SNES era (Super Mario Bros.: The Lost Levels, Super Mario World) and the N64 era (Super Mario 64) but the hair is totally Ultimate version of Giga Bowser.
Cloud: "Advent Blue" also resembles Cloud's artwork in some boxarts of the Final Fantasy VII: Advent Children movie.
Corrin: "Orange" is based on Oboro, Takumi's retainer from Fate.
Daisy: "Red" could reference Peach's sprite on the Virtual Boy game Mario's Tennis, the first tennis-related Mario game. "Black" could reference Daisy's sprite in Super Mario Land with even a bit of green of the Game Boy screen.
Diddy Kong: "Green" furr resembles the yellow alt in DK: King of Swing; "Blue" vest is also available in Donkey Kong 64 Multiplayer and DK: King of Swing; "Yellow" cap also resembles the source of "White" but the furr is closer to the monochrome appearance in Donkey Kong Land or the blue alt in DK: King of Swing.
Donkey Kong: "Black" fur could also reference the sprites of the GB's Donkey Kong Land and GBC's Game & Watch Gallery 2. "Green" also resembles his sprite in Donkey Kong for the Game Boy albeit being a darker green.
Greninja: "Red" is Crawdaunt; "Pink" is Lickitung and/or Lickilicky; "Green" is Politoed and/or Kecleon.
Isabelle: "Pink" resembles Pelly while "Purple" resembles Phyllis, sisters that also worked at the Town Hall in games like Wild World and City Folk.
King Dedede: "Purple" also resembles Masked Dedede in Triple Deluxe that was controlled by Queen Sectonia which also his obi have patterns based on her.
Luigi: "Cyan" and "Yellow" are also part of the sprite rotation in the Invincibility effect in Super Mario Bros.. "Blue" is also available in the multiplayer ScareScraper of Luigi's Mansion: Dark Moon. "Yellow" is also available in Mario Golf and Mario Tennis on the N64 albeit the colors are inverted.
Mr. Game & Watch: "Green" also the Game Boy but the dark pixels i guess.
Peach: "Yellow" dress could still be based on the classic appearance of Daisy, or Peach's sprite on the GBC sports games of Mario Tennis, Mario Golf and Mobile Golf. I have seen some say its the Golden Drink effect from Super Mario Party that cover the player completely in gold.
Pyra/Mythra: "Saturated" Pyra resembles the Shulk's Monado while Mythra might slightly resemble Nia's blade form; "Metal" might be taken from Rex's interpretation of Pneuma (Pyra + Mythra) as "Coffee with Milk" (Brown and White), Pyra resembles the Zohar from Xenosaga while Mythra might resemble the Mini-Zohar which is small white version of it.
Robin: "Blue" resembles the male avatar from Fire Emblem: New Mystery of the Emblem named Kris, maybe the purple parts were taken from the female avatar.
Sonic: "Purple" might also resemble Blaze the Cat as she was also playable in her debut game Sonic Rush.
I ignored some because I have commented them before but others I might have already but I was not so "straight to the point", or the previous games already have it. DoctaShield (talk) 01:05, November 11, 2021 (EST)
Daisy's pink costume
I'm pretty sure Daisy's pink costume is inspired by her Super Mario Bros Print World art (https://www.mariowiki.com/File:SMBPW_Princess_Daisy.png) given the color scheme is nearly identical, more so than Peach's early artworks and sprites. ANTI (talk) 20:19, November 19, 2021 (EST)
Yellow Pit and Red Dark Pit
I might be stretching things way too much with these, but I think I made a major discovery. Dark Pit's red costume looks like Twinbellows, down to the lighter wings representing the exposed spine. Also, Pit's yellow costume looks almost exactly like his design in the official Captain N comic book. The Other Jared (talk) 20:23, December 3, 2021 (EST)
- I hope they read yours, I said the same thing about Red Dark Pit like a month ago XD. IMO yellow Pit might reference the centurions. DoctaShield (talk) 14:51, December 6, 2021 (EST)
Luigi's cyan costume
I'm pretty sure this resembles Luigi's in-game appearance in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TomAndTheCats (talk • contribs) 20:46, December 15, 2021 (EST)
- That game released after Brawl which introduced the alt because Brawl released in 2008 and the Mario game you listed released in 2009. Thegameandwatch The Nerd 03:11, December 16, 2021 (EST)
- Dang, if only Sakurai had had a heart and changed the color of the emblem on his cap... —Preceding unsigned comment added by TomAndTheCats (talk • contribs) 11:21, December 21, 2021 (EST)
- My bad, I actually meant his boxart appearance in Mario & Luigi: Superstar Saga. In Brawl, his emblem is actually black, which I think is a nice touch! —Preceding unsigned comment added by TomAndTheCats (talk • contribs) 14:28, January 10, 2022 (EST)
Richter's Harmony of Despair color palette
I'm kinda hesitant to point this out because I know that every references need a source link to further enforce the truth yet unfortunately I only have a video of said color palette about guides to use unused color palette in the game as there's seems to be no sprite rip (https://youtu.be/xtFxXNojBno?t=15). As you can see in the timestamp while blurry it is still kinda noticeable that there are some similarity with some of his costume, specifically the black, red, green, purple, and white and I think this reference is acceptable as HoD came out years before Ultimate.
If there's someone out there who is a series expert I humbly need a further examination. Command Stratos (talk) 07:09, January 5, 2022 (EST)
Kirby's Orange alt
I'd say that the comparison of Suplex Kirby and the Orange alt isn't good as the Suplex coloration for Kirby is Slightly Brown or similar to Normal. I'll say that it looks more like the coloration of Crash and Fireball Kirby in the artworks of Kirby's Adventure (They're both orange with red feet). 162.83.241.208 09:37, January 15, 2022 (EST)
Green Wolf
I believe the Green alt. for Wolf might be based on his team member Leon Powalski as he have green skin with yellow details around the eyes just like Wolf's jacket while in Assault and Command he wears a purple suit like Wolf's in this alt. DoctaShield (talk) 04:20, January 22, 2022 (EST)
Violet Ganondorf
I believe that Ganondorf’s violet alt. is based on Yuga from A Link Between Worlds. His hair is similar, being a brighter shade of red, his skin tone is lighter compared to his default alt., and his cape is purple. This would match Ganondorf’s other alts. as they seem to be linked up with other appearances of him throughout the series. Link to a picture of Yuga for reference: https://nintendo.fandom.com/wiki/Yuga LakesideNyq (talk) 18:15, April 2, 2022 (EDT)
- Hmmmm... I think it might be a little bit of a reach. The colour of the cape and the hair matches, that's about it. The skin colour is just a single shade lighter than his default, nowhere near approaching Yuga's appearance. Black Vulpine the 🦊Furry🐺. Furries make the internets go! :3 20:35, April 2, 2022 (EDT)
- IMO should be considered as a possibility (a lot of alt colors are not a 1-1 match, consider terms like "inspired", "resembles", "based on" or "reminiscent" to reflect how close the alt color to the source might be) as in the A Link Between Worlds, Yuga and Ganon merges into Yuga Ganon, aka a canonical reason of why they (the Smash Bros. team) could have seen this as inspiration, but also imo, more closely resembles the Purple one rather than the Violet one. Other posibilities for Violet or Purple could be Din the goddess that represents the triforce of Power (the one that Ganondorf got, in Ocarina of Time she was purple-pink instead of orange-red), the color of the Shadow Medallion, some of the Gerudo Guards and even White is purple-ish and also resembles Vaati in human form.

Purple Incineroar
I believe this alternate costume may be based (or at least involuntarily referencing) on Big The Cat from the sonic franchise, which matches perfectly his purple hue and is also, as a matter of fact, a cat.—Preceding unsigned comment added by Le Canard Belge (talk • contribs) 16:04, May 6, 2022 (EDT)
- This has been brought up multiple times to the point that the page itself includes a comment saying not to add that as a reference. --CanvasK (talk) 16:09, May 6, 2022 (EDT)
Incineroar
My theory is that Green and Blue actually represents the other two starter Pokémon from Generation VII, those being Rowlet and Popplio, with Green being more prominent in Rowlet's final avolution Decidueye, the other Pokémon that was considerated instead of Incineroar for Smash.
Purple is probably based on Purrloin, a dark-type (sometimes) bipedal feline from Generation V. The yellow dot on Incineroar's paw (I don't know how its called XD) might be for Purloin's evolution, Liepard that features more yellow rather than a very light brown/yellow.
Grey is a common color in some breeds of cat for what I have seen (like this ones for example, even the yellow eyes), and some Pokémon have those colors like Generation IV's Glameow and Purugly, Generation VI's Espurr, and the Alolan form of Generation I's Meowth and Persian (this two also being Dark-type Pokémon). DoctaShield (talk) 18:37, July 10, 2022 (EDT)
Lucario: Teal and Pink
I have seen it before but i don't remember where anymore but Teal is based on the colors of Shiny Dialga as it features both the color teal but also the light green that Lucario's torso does. And while checking just clicked, the Pink one must be based on Palkia, i had commented previosly that might have been based on Medicham but Palkia makes more sense for the Generation he comes from. DoctaShield (talk) 17:04, July 25, 2022 (EDT)
- ...or maybe they're just teal and pink alts. Why would Lucario reference Dialga or Palkia? Alex the Weeb 17:13, July 25, 2022 (EDT)
- Because they are the legendary pokémon (aka the ones on the box art) from the same generation? The teal one is here since Brawl unchanged, they must have sourced some of them from somewhere easy to pick (Lucario is blue, Dialga is blue... mmmm oh yeah, the shiny is slighty different, let's pick that one). For the Palkia one, same logic albeit i had said Medicham before, a Fighting/Psychic-type pokémon with a similar body structure is also a plausible option. DoctaShield (talk) 17:36, July 25, 2022 (EDT)
I think this one was obvious but decided to ignore, does this previously "anime" color Lucario is based on Mega-Lucario? Of course minus the red parts, this form have a darker blue and a more yellow torso than his normal form. This alt been since SSB4 so it's possible as his Mega-evolution was also his Final Smash since then, plus Byleth also have 2 skins that are also part of their Final Smash. DoctaShield (talk) 17:56, July 25, 2022 (EDT)
Yellow C.Falcon
While I don't disagree or want to change the current source (Dr. Stewart / Golden Fox) as they predate my source, there is a machine in F-Zero X Expansion Kit named Super Falcon being depicted as a modified golden Blue Falcon, it could be another reason they made a full yellow C.Falcon alt color for Smash Bros. Yubes13 (talk) 20:30, July 26, 2022 (EDT)
White Rosalina
A possible reason why Rosalina's white outfit uses pink over the usual red that the sources credit, could be a nod on the White Mage from the Final Fantasy series, more specifically, the female character that appears in Mario Hoops 3-on-3 and Mario Sports Mix, which also resembles Rosalina's hairstyle (the part of the hair covering one eye) and features pink hair. Also Rosalina's dress is similar to the usual depiction of White Mage's long robe. Yubes13 (talk) 00:15, July 27, 2022 (EDT)
Blue Kirby
The page says the blue alt. of Kirby is based on Ice Kirby from Kirby Super Star but it should be from Kirby's Adventure, not only because it's an older game, but also the sprite and artwork from the latter game only uses shades of blue while all versions of Kirby Super Star Ice Kirby features Kirby's shoes being color purple instead. DoctaShield (talk) 15:56, July 27, 2022 (EDT)
- The site for Smash 64 states that Kirby's Blue Alt is specifically Ice Kirby in Kirby Super Star. 104.28.56.1 09:07, August 1, 2022 (EDT)
- While the Kirby's Adventure artwork for Ice Kirby (in addition to Freeze Kirby) do have an exact color match, the sprite has a white body and light blue feet (likely due to palette limitations, but whatever), which no Kirby alt. has that exact color scheme. The Jacketed Terrapin 11:47, August 1, 2022 (EDT)
- Mmm, alright, my defence here would have been but the Brawl and SSB4 trophies of Ice Kirby also name Kirby's Adventure first and both of them are full blue although I was in the same boat with the sprite being not 1-1 but likewse thinking about palette limiations. Also, there is similar situation is with Samus pink alt., to quote: Based on the Gravity Suit's in-game sprite from Super Metroid (Smash 64 source, btw I think the page now is unavailable), but more closely resembles the color scheme of the Varia Suit of the original Metroid when missiles are selected. DoctaShield (talk) 14:52, August 1, 2022 (EDT)
- I think I have founded why it is like it is. If you go to the JP Smash Bros. 64 webpage where the alt colors are, you can find the Ice Kirby source is from Kirby Super Star but if you notice, Kirby does actually have the purple feet as the game of origin does. But visiting this wiki, Kirby's SSB 64 costume alts have the blue feet as Ice Kirby from Kirby's Adventure (I also checked the textures for the 3D model of that alt, it is also dark blue). My conclusion is that the Smash Bros. 64 webpage was taken from an early version of the game as searching for footage of the JP version of the game still shows a full blue Kirby in case it could have been a Japan Only thing before the International release made changes and adjustments. DoctaShield (talk) 21:29, August 16, 2022 (EDT)
Pyra/Mythra: likely the colors for P7 and P8.
P7 aka the Saturated alt is themed around blades in two ways but also might have been skipped explanation due to spoilers. Pyra's emerald (this is the color that is described in Xenoblade Chronicles 2) highlights and core crystal are blue, which with the color red matches with the colors of the blade known as the Monado, it enters a bit of spoiler territory but it's implied in XBC2 that there was 3 core crystals, 1 for Pyra/Mythra/Pneuma, one for Malos (the main antagonist) and another that got lost in a "space time event". Later on the release of XBC Definitive Edition came around and Alvis got redesigned to have a core crystal in his necklace, he could use the Monado with no problem (let's say, the Monado chooses its wielder), that is similar how a Driver and the Blade share the weapon. For Mythra, this is more conjecture on the color of the boots and stockings, red boots, golden details, white stockings, the same as Nia's Blade form, everything else in her desing is white with black and some small touches of red too, with the gloves being a mismatch, but matching the inside of Nia's sleeves (black and red), plus some decorations in the ears are black, and so Mythra's tiara. The only mismatch is the hair color, being another shade of blonde instead of the white as the previous yellow alt. This also enters spoiler territory as this is Nia's true form and only reveladed late game (albeit before Pneuma's). Also, they used Mythra again for a Nia alt, but there is also a Blade Special in which Rex uses both Nia and Pyra named Nexus Force so Mythra is the outcast.
P8 aka "Metal", while we had a two alts based on Xenogears, this one is based around Xenosaga. Pyra's golden color matches with that of the Zohar, a powerful object that appeared both in Xenogears and Xenosaga, but the desing is from Xenosaga in this case (according to the wiki, it's inspired by the Monolith from 2001: A Space Odyssey which is also part of Monolith Soft's logo and maybe even inspired the company's name). The thing is, this object is all over XBC2 in (atleast) 3 ways, while not directly confirmed, its great power and shape matches with that of the Conduit; the shape also is the same as the Core Crystal of Pyra/Mythra, Malos and Alvis; and lastly, Xenosaga´s KOS-MOS (and also T-Elos) appear in XBC2 as Blades, with KOS-MOS's weapon being shaped after the Zohar itself. Mythra's silver is the same, just that it resembles the Mini-Zohar from the same series. Both colors also resemble brown and white, which are also a nod to a talk between Rex and Mythra about their new form, Pneuma; Rex asks who of them is Pneuma, Pyra or Mythra, Mythra answer that is both of them at the same time, to which Rex take is as "so it's like coffee with milk", also in the Events Theater (a way to rewatch cutscenes), the cutscene also is named "Coffee with Milk". Different ideas that I found... for Ness and Sonic
For Sonic, the orange color of his shoes and cuffs could be a reference to a unlockable outfit (Battle Costume) for the Dreamcast version of Sonic Adventure 2 which is orange and yellow. Searching it's use (as I only had seen a picture before researching), it is inspired by the HUmar class in Phantasy Star Online, their wiki names Ash Canaan as their default character of this class (just if this reference is needed). Same deal with NiGHTS I guess, as Sonic also appears in PSO. Just in case, there is also an unlockable cheetah outfit for Sonic in Sonic Rivals 2.
For Ness, it's more of a nitpick of mine. I know the cyan outfit have a Master Belch print, but I think it should change the wording as the color scheme and the print of this costume is themed around Master Belch and his stronger second form, Master Barf as they have colors that matches the whole outfit. Incineroar's Shiny Rewording
--Kirb-Star (talk) 18:27, September 29, 2022 (EDT)
