I don't like how this discussion went, there should have been questions on what tournaments BOX has actually had a hand in hosting and what makes him vital to the scene. In response to the lack of notability claim: So a tournament in which a current top 30 player in the world attended as well as players who have taken sets off of him is not notable? And Tucson isn't allowed to have a PR for what reason exactly? Other cities have PRs that fall under their state's overall PR (Columbus, Ohio for example) so this argument is also invalid. This article may not be relevant to you but BOX is vital to our scene and deserves recognition. If this website refuses to allow me to do so, I will recognize him elsewhere. —Preceding unsigned comment added by PimpinSpicy (talkcontribs) 15:40, March 5, 2022 (EST)

I'll fully admit that I am in no way the best judge for this sort of thing, however, our notability standards are clear. In no particular order, let's go over the main arguments here.
"And Tucson isn't allowed to have a PR for what reason exactly? Other cities have PRs that fall under their state's overall PR (Columbus, Ohio for example) so this argument is also invalid."
One key factor that makes a smasher notable is if they're ranked on a REGIONAL level PR. Yes, citywide PRs do exist, but those generally don't count under our standards. When we say we want something regional-level, anything that's statewide or larger (such as the entire state of Ohio itself) would be far more likely to qualify. Nobody said that citywide PRs aren't allowed to exist, but unless the competitive scene is obscenely gigantic within that city, it doesn't fit our notability standards. In fact, our standards actually forbid standalone articles of citywide PRs, instead requiring that such PRs are placed on their respective regional page.
"So a tournament in which a current top 30 player in the world attended as well as players who have taken sets off of him is not notable?"
Not if they're one of only a few notable or ranked players who attended, which again, our standards clearly state that a considerable number of players must attend to be considered for notability. Unfortunately the tournament pages you've created also don't seem to have anything else that particularly stands out, such as high attendance (<100 entrants for Melee and Ultimate is actually listed as an example of what is NOT notable).
"This article may not be relevant to you but BOX is vital to our scene and deserves recognition."
That argument is completely irrelevant, unfortunately. In your mind it might deserve recognition, but rules are rules, and you cannot just simply have an article made because you want it badly. There would be a lot more fluff on this wiki if we allowed articles of every smasher who played maybe a few games in their local area.
Overall, you appear to have a poor grasp of our notability standards. I strongly suggest you read the article linked so you can better understand what's required of you here, and perhaps also while you're at it, take a moment to read on what SmashWiki is not.
