Groudon has not yet been seen using any kind of attack. Information revealed so far suggests that Groudon may only do damage to players who come in contact with it, though it is confirmed that it will not harm the player who summoned it. (Compare with [[Moltres]] in Melee) Although such an effect may seem rather pointless, it has been shown that Groudon is absolutely massive, making it very hard to avoid. Its status as a Legendary Pokémon suggests it will be quite rare.

As a Poké Ball Pokémon

Super Smash Bros. Brawl is the first Super Smash Bros. game to include Groudon, as Groudon didn't exist when the first two games were made. When summoned from a Poké Ball, the titanic Groudon appears and damages all opponents of the summoner that come into contact with it, even though it stands idly. Its size makes it hard to avoid when it first appears.
