From this quote, I take it as if only King Dedede, Lucina, King K. Rool, Richter and Simon are the only names pronounced differently between different international versions of Ultimate. But Ludwig is pronounced /ˈlʌdwɪɡ/ (ludwig) in English, but /ˈluːtvɪç/ (lootvikh) in German. Aside from vowel differences (that comes with different languages), the final G is pronounced very differently. There's probably more examples of this that I don't know, so the above quote should probably state that this applies only to the languages that Xander Mobus voices.<br> | From this quote, I take it as if only King Dedede, Lucina, King K. :It does appear to mean only Xander Mobus' lines like you said. I started checking other voicelines and within Spanish there's Joker (Joker v Yoker), K. Rool (King KAY Rool v King KAH Rool), Lucina (Lucina v Luthina), Zombie (Zombie v Thombie), Pikachu (PikaCHU v PiKAchu), Jigglypuff (Jigglypoof v Jigglypuff), ZSS (Samus Zero v Samus Thero), and Zelda (Zelda v Thelda). I agree it should at least be specified. If we want it to be "international" then it should be removed because of how many characters it would cover. --[[User:CanvasK|CanvasK]] ([[User talk:CanvasK|talk]]) 07:20, March 11, 2022 (EST) |

"Religious Elements" Trivia[edit]
While that trivia point may be partially correct in the sense of a character using religious-based moves, doesn't the Bayonetta series include a lot of religious symbolism throughout its games? I was considering editing that point or moving it to the Castlevania series page for a more generalized trivia point, but now I'm sort of split on what to do with that. - Had Ixbran respond on SmashWiki's Discord regarding this, I shall just go ahead with his response first. Mexi (talk) 05:13, 10 August 2018 (EDT)
Simon Belmont's Voice Actor?[edit]
So I believed that Simon part of the Vergeben leak because Leif in FE Heroes shares the same Japanese voice actor as Simon Belmont which is Kenichi Suzumura which he had voiced Simon already in Castlevania Judgement, so is this supposed to be Kenichi Suzumura voicing Simon Belmont in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? But does anyone know who is Simon Belmont's English voice actor? Andreepika11233 (talk) 08:39, 10 August 2018 (EDT)
Costume References[edit]
I think there's some references in the alternate colors. For example, his first alt is definitely a reference to Simon's Quest. Rev. B (talk) 22:53, 24 December 2018 (EST)
No "In competitive play" section[edit]
Why doesn't this article have an "In competitive play" section, even though Richter has one? Shouldn't they share it since they are effectively the same character?Rdrfc (talk) 12:33, June 28, 2019 (EDT)
- Yes and no. They are the exact same gameplay-wise, but because they’re technically two different characters, Simon really has no results. It would be like if male and female Corrin were hypothetically split up into echoes: since most results with Corrin use the female costume, we’d put the results on her hypothetical page and not her male counterpart. International pronunciation differences[edit]
The quote in the trivia section is:
- Like King Dedede, Lucina, King K. Rool, and Richter, Simon's name is pronounced differently between the different international versions of Ultimate.
There's probably more examples of this that I don't know, so the above quote should probably state that this applies only to the languages that Xander Mobus voices.

- It does appear to mean only Xander Mobus' lines like you said. --CanvasK (talk) 07:20, March 11, 2022 (EST)
