Texas is a Smash region that encompasses the U.S. state of Texas. Due to the significant travel time it takes to traverse across the large state, Texas is further divided into smaller subregions, surrounding its largest cities: Houston, Dallas, San Antonio, and Austin.

Texas has been home to a significant Melee scene since the game's early competitive life, although it has not been as strong as other large regions talent-wise, with only one player each being currently ranked in the 2017 SSBMRank and Panda Global Rankings.
