Sora (ソラ, Sora) is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. He was officially announced during a Mr. Sakurai Presents on October 5th, 2021 as the sixth and final downloadable character from Fighters Pass Vol. 2 and is set to release on October 18, 2021 as part of Challenger Pack 11. Sora is classified as Fighter #82, the last fighter number of the newcomers and fighters as a whole.
Haley Joel Osment, Sora's English voice actor, reprises his role in the English version of Ultimate. He has also been confirmed to have Japanese voice acting as well, though it is currently unknown if it will be his established Japanese voice actor Miyu Irino or not.

Neutral special | Magic | Sora can perform one of three different spells: Firaga, Thundaga and Blizzaga. Each time the move is used, Sora will cycle through the spells and will use the next in the cycle the next time he uses the move. He starts with Firaga by default, then switches to Thundaga, then Blizzaga, and then back to Firaga again according to the command icon above his mugshot. Firaga is a fireball that moves straight, which can be tapped to fire continuously, Thundaga has him summon three thunderbolts from the clouds and Blizzaga has him unleash various short-ranged ice crystals similar to Blizzard.
Side special | Sonic Blade | Performs a high-speed thrusting attack. He can perform it up to 4 times, and can move in different directions with a directional input.
Up special | Aerial Sweep | A series of spinning, inward slashes while jumping, similar to Spin Attack, except that Sora can jump if he is in the ground, and can cancel it into his moves before the helpless state.
Down special | Counterattack | A normal counterattack that stuns opponents when hitting him, to which Sora retaliates with an upward swing. Unlike any other counters, its power will vary depending on the opponent's strength. He can also counter projectiles, which he will deflect behind him.
Final Smash | Sealing the Keyhole | Sora fires a beam that summons a huge keyhole. Anyone trapped inside will be locked behind by the door with the Smash logo, and Sora seals the keyhole with the same beam, causing an explosion. |
Role in World of Light
Due to his status as downloadable content, Sora does not have a legitimate role in World of Light. Instead, he is unlocked for use in the mode after freeing 10 fighters from Galeem's control. If loading an existing save file that meets this condition before downloading Sora, he is immediately unlocked.
