Hey all. I've come with the unfortunate announcement that I will officially be retiring from all wiki work from this day forward and for the foreseeable future. This decision did not come lightly, and is something I've been racking my brain on for well over a year now, coming close several times. I'll keep this as simple as possible, but the reason I'm ultimately deciding to step away is that I don't have the drive for this anymore. After so many competitive smashers I once respected got exposed, and the increased toxicity from the fanbase as of late, I'm just extremely burnt out. I still love Smash, but I can't play it to the extent I once could. Once upon a time, I'd practice daily. Now, I only play when I have friends over or if a new character dropped. I don't think I'll be able to look at it the way I once did for a long time now. On top of this, even if I wanted to, I honestly just don't have time anymore, and even if I did, there's not much I really contribute these days, especially for a bureaucrat. All I really do is edit my fighter movie page. I don't have the competitive knowledge nor technical experience, and a lot of other things we need are also out of my scope of skills/knowledge. I'm kind of just dead weight to this wiki now and I've ultimately accepted that fate, so I'd rather go out on my own terms than have it be decided for me. It makes me really sad to have to go, honestly, but wiki work just isn't for me anymore, and likely won't be for a long time, if ever. I will be attempting once again to port my fighter movie project somewhere so it can still be publicly available, and I will likely sign on one last time to provide that link, but after that, most of you, including people who consider me their friend, won't hear from me much, if at all, anymore. I will also be leaving the Discord server, and unfriending a bunch of people from there. I only intend to keep a couple contacts just in an off chance anything comes up. Hi there! The name's Trip, or Disaster Flare. Most people just call me Flare or Trip, but call me whatever you'd like. I've been editing on this wiki for well over 5 years now, and I've been an admin for 4. I tend to pop in and out on the wiki, but I mostly help out on the Smasher side of the wiki as well as dealing with a lot of the maintenance. Other Interests

I watch anime and write a Sonic fanfiction, so that's pretty cool I suppose. In terms of other fighting games, I play a fair amount of Tekken 7, Marvel vs. Capcom 3, and Under Night In-Birth, and I may enter the competitive scene for Under Night.
