Cheap is a word that has been used to complain about almost every aspect of a game. [1] Because of this, it has no clear meaning. The closest definition is, "a strategy that someone can not figure out how to beat." Almost every aspect of SSBM and other competitive fighters has been declared cheap at some time.
Examples of Tactics That Have Been Claimed to be 'Cheap'
- The kamikaze glitch
- Chain grabbing
- Wavedash
- Lcanceling
- Roy- Because he, "has fire."
- Ice Climbers - Because they, "have ice" or because there are "two of them."
- Edge-guarding
- Edge-hogging
- Ken combo
- Shine spike
- Spikes
- Sheik
- Meteor canceling
- All Projectiles
- Falco's Laser
