The Russian Power Rankings are power rankings for players of The Russian Federation. Because the majority of tournaments are held online, it can also include players from Ex-USSR countries (such as stasiansky, who is from Ukraine). Rather than panelists or a dedicated algorithm, the rankings are based on a ELO system on braacket.com.
Since players from Ex-USSR countries are allowed to participate in Russian tournaments, currently there are representatives from Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Moldova, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia with the exception of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan and Uzbekistan due to the lack of players in those regions.
