Standard special move X-Buster Tap the special attack button will make X fire a plasma bullet, dealing minimal damage. Hold the special move button to charge energy for a more powerful shot. Also, if you do aerial shots, you can only fire either the plasma bullet, or the fully charged shot. You can walk, and jump while holding, and crouching, but can't double jump. There are three stages of charge depending on how long the button is held down for:
  • First stage: Similar to Mega Man's Mega Buster, as it deals small damage and can be used up to three, though with more forward length.
  • Second stage: Travels on a moderate distance and the pellet becomes a green shot that is a little stronger.
  • Third stage: Behaves similar to Mega Man's Charge Shot, except more powerful.
2% (first stage)
11% (second stage)
17% (third stage)
Side special move Lightning Web X fires an electric-charged web that travels a short distance before it opens up and stays in place, which acts like a wall that X can climb on for a short period of time. It can stun an opponent if they caught into it. By holding B, X fires the web that networks out to another eight that can the opponent for a few seconds and cause continuous damage, but the nets cannot be climbed. Based on Web Spider's weapon. 5%

Up special move (Ground) Rising Fire X raises his arm in the air and shoots a fireball upwards. It’s good against opponents in the air, but since the projectile is shot upward, it has no horizontal range. By holding the special button, X can perform a flaming shoryuken, giving it three hits. Based on Magma Dragoon's weapon. 8%
5% (hits 1-3, fully charged)
Up special move (Air) Wing Spiral X will hop upward with an uppercut, sending off a whirlwind that rises up in the air with multiple hits, similar to the Air Shooter. Compared to any other recoveries, it is considered to be the weakest Up Special recovery ever, surpassing Little Mac's. But holding the B button before letting go of it, he will fire a strightforward super tornado that increases its size, which can be hopped on to give him alot of vertical recovery. Based on Spiral Pegasus' weapon. 2% (hits 1-2), 3% (hits 3-4), 1% (hits 5-8)
16% (fully charged)
Down special move Armor of Light X equips his armor from the first game for 10 seconds. In this state, the damage taken by opponents is reduced by 25%, hurts opponents with his helmet when jumping, makes his running speed much faster, and gains his second buster with a fourth stage, which when fully charged, fires two buster shots for each cannon that deals tremendous amount of knockback. It also increases the power to all of his normal attacks (the Special Weapons to be exact). 5% (each wave, Rakuhouha)
Final Smash Ultimate Strike X begans to equips his Ultimate Armor and performs his signature Nova Strike attack that hits two or three opponent. If done, he will use the same move to drag on in the air, then slam them on the ground that causes them to be launched in the air, X then points his buster upwards as he begin to charge up all of its powers to fire a huge laser beam upwards, taking them back to the battlefield. If the opponent reaches above 100%, they will be instantly KO'd. 45%

Misc.

Misc. Description
On-screen appearance Warps in, resembling the way he warps in when he starts a stage in Mega Man Maverick Hunter X.
Taunts Standard Performs a fake out Hadouken. If the Armor of Light is used, he can perform the actual attack that deals only 1% damage, but has insane amount of knockback, so insane that he can KO the enemy instantly, like in the original Mega Man X. To perform it, use the Street Fighter command input (↓ ↘ → + Taunt).
Side Takes out his saber and strikes a pose with it while saying "This is for my buddy" before he puts back. The pose is identical the way he does in his Mega Man X6 artwork.
Down/Up Raises his left arm with his fists clenched. It is very similar the way he does when he defeats a maverick, or getting one of the parts in the Light Capsule back in the SNES era.
Victory theme A rock remix of the jingle heard from the original Mega Man X when a Maverick is defeated, literally taken straight from Mega Man X Legacy Collection 1 and 2.
Victory Standard Charges up his buster, then fires a charge shot while saying "This is a job for a Maverick Hunter!" before posing. The pose itself resembles an artwork found in Mega Man X5.
Victory Side Dashes in, then jumps before striking the pose, while saying "Looks like i finally settled out the score". This is the way he does in his games where his jump is much faster after performing a dash.
Victory Up/Down Performs a somersault, then raises his right arm while saying "Phew, I did it!” before warping off. A recurring victory pose whenever he defeats a maverick, which is based on the one from Mega Man Maverick Hunter X.
