I'm more neutral for this one. 17/89 at Mason VS isn't that bad and there are some good wins like Barking_Frog, but the majority of the results are locals which, while decent, isn't enough for notability. :Wouldn't placing consistebtly high at local suggest you've achieved regional notability? Getting PRd in MDVA is incredibly difficult. ::Even so, you have to look at which local. D3_Will places better at locals without much notable players than at Xanadu and The Grind tournaments, which are the "important" locals. I would give more of a pass if he was a consistent top 8 at those 2 locals, but his best placement is probably 9th at The Grind 82 back in 2019. Keep 7th at the Arcadian and 13th at a couple 100+ offline tournies plus first at a number of 50+ person weeklies. Also reasonably well known. Wiifitkid (talk) 11:01, February 28, 2021 (EST)
- Arcadians are lower-level tournaments and restrict PR players, making these wins less valuable. Unfortunately, many other PR and even non-PR MDVA players (and in general out of state players) also achieve such results, and being reasonably well known doesn’t indicate strength of a player. As a Dedede player, players such as Riley (New York) exhibits better results in a similar format, and multiple Dedede players from other countries have outpaced D3_Will in results.
- As for being well known, for example, MGK is a well-known Ganondorf main that continuously labs, but doesn’t have the results to warrant a page. —Preceding unsigned comment added by MemeDedede (talk • contribs) 11:23, February 28, 2021
