The Skill parameter has been removed from Smasher infoboxes, and in its place are the new "Best historical ranking" and "Best tournament result" parameters. SmashWiki needs help adding these new parameters to Smasher infoboxes, refer to the guidelines here for what should be included in these new parameters. |
When adding results to Smasher pages, include each tournament's entrant number in addition to the player's placement, and use the {{Trn}} template with the matching game specified. Please also fix old results on Smasher pages that do not abide to this standard. Refer to our Smasher article guidelines to see how results tables should be formatted. |

Mojang Studios is a Swedish video game developer and publisher founded by Markus Persson. Mojang was originally an independent studio before being acquired by Microsoft on November 6, 2014, and has since become part of Xbox Game Studios. It is best known for having made the sandbox video game franchise Minecraft.
In Super Smash Bros. Ultimate
Steve, the default skin for the main character in Minecraft, makes his debut as a fighter in the Fighters Pass Vol. 2, accompanied by the Alex, Zombie, and Enderman alternate costumes, as well as the Minecraft World stage. Additionally, the Creeper, Pig, and Diamond Armor Mii Swordfighter outfits were introduced with Round 7.
Trivia
- Mojang Studios is the fifth third-party company to be introduced to the Super Smash Bros. series as DLC, the first four being Square Enix, Atlus, Microsoft, and SNK.
- It is also the second to be a subsidiary of a company that previously had a character, after Atlus. Like Atlus, and unlike Rare Ltd., Mojang is listed separately from its parent company in the credits.
- Despite the rename to Mojang Studios, the credits for Ultimate use Mojang's old company name, "Mojang AB".
- Mojang Studios is the third company outside of Japan to receive representation in Smash via a playable character, following Rare, who created Diddy Kong, King K. Rool, and Banjo & Kazooie, and Retro Studios, who created Dark Samus.
