Shaz is an Australian smasher from Melbourne, Australia. Despite his inconsistency in tournaments, he holds reputation for being one of the best professional players in Australia.
Background
Shaz began playing competitive Smash in 2003 and started what was referred to as 'Melbourne's core', or 'original-four.' The core consisted of Kupo, Shaz, Cella, and SabreAnt. In 2004, they travelled to Perth, Western Australia, for the first National Australian tournament. Shaz continues to attend National Australian Tournaments to this day, and has also attended several high profile international events, including the Jack Garden Tournament (JGT), OC2 and MLG Orlando.

Trivia
- A common misconception of Shaz's Roy is that it defeated Masashi's Roy in Japan. Rather, they tied in a set.
- In OC2, he showed a group Canadians how to speak 'Canadan.' In addition, he performed a 'fusion' with Edmonton Smasher, Jarrod to create Mew2King.
