The Smash World Tour is a Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Ultimate tournament circuit organized by the teams behind VGBootCamp and Super Smash Con. The circuit starts on March 13th, 2020, and has a cut-off date on November 22nd, 2020. Tournaments will be held all over the world, with the finals being held in the United States from December 17th-20th, 2020. There will be a combined pot total of over $250,000.
Scoring
Scores are calculated based off of placements, with higher tiered events offering more points for a wider range of placements. The following factors into the final score:
- Top 3 Platinum results
- Top 3 Gold results
- Top 6 Silver results
The top 31 players then move on to the finals, with a Last Chance qualifier for the last slot.
