The Smash 64 Player Awards are a series of honors awarded annually by The 64 Story to commemorate various achievements of Super Smash Bros. smashers. The 2016 edition was revealed from January 1st-7th, 2017. The 2017 edition was revealed from January 6th-14th, 2018. The 2018 edition was revealed from January 12th-20th, 2019. The 2019 edition was revealed from December 21st-31st, 2019.
Method
Each member of a panel voted on a 1st and 2nd place for an award, with the 1st place vote counting as 2 points and the 2nd place vote counting as 1 point. The player(s) with the most points is the recipient of the award. The 2016 edition had 40 panelists. The 2017 edition had 30 panelists. The 2018 edition had 24 panelists.
