Gungnir is an SSB4 Ganondorf player from Japan, and is considered one of the best Ganondorf players in the world. Despite not being an active tournament-goer, he regularly streams on his NicoNico video account and his YouTube channel. He is highly respected within the Ganondorf community and is considered to be the "godfather of Ganondorf" by many. He proved himself worthy of this title by placing 17th at Umebura Japan Major 2017. He has taken sets off of players such as Earth, Taiheita, Ginko, Yuzu, kept, and Shimitake.
In Ultimate, Gungnir has been inactive, however, he still plays as Ganondorf on his stream.
