He later met fellow Danish player Laske who introduced him to the Danish smash scene, and eventually lead to him peaking to the #1 spot of the Danish Power Rankings. Finishing smash 4 as #2 on the Danish PR and results such as 4th at Valhalla, 17th at ESGA: Invitational and much more!
Ultimate
xHOPEx started the first month without a main but ended up settling with Isabelle and using a bunch of characters at the side, this was necessary for him as Isabelle is looked on as one of the worst characters in the game. Even with this problem, xHOPEx ends up finding himself at good placings such as 13th at Valhalla II and 9th at PXB2. Eventually picking up Ken from a for fun character, to a Co-main after his buffs in patch 3.1.0. Using a deep pocket uterlizing Isa, Ken, Roy, Inkling etc, xHOPEx quickly got known as the best Isabelle in Europe and one of the best in the world.
After lackluster results at Monday Meltdown, xHOPEx decided that he had to seek out for a new main. As the meta evolved the flaws of Isabelle and her lackluster tool set for the meta took a tole on him, but he would finally find light on a correct character for him at the E3 nintendo Direct june 11th, 2019. There Hero, the main characters of the Dragon Quest series along with Banjo & Kazooie got revealed and Hero got his attention. Seeing the interesting MP bar and a menu list, xHOPEx's interest for the character rose and he would not compete at a bigger scale event untill further notice of the character. Later on in time, Sakurai himself would showcase the interesting gimmick of Hero and his RNG gameplay. This sparked a lot of concern for a lot of competitors but sparked joy in xHOPEx and therefor decided to main Hero with a pocket Roy. Ever since the release of Hero a rise of results and peaks have landed on xHOPEx's path and is quickly marking himself as a valid threat with a character that might not have a big impact at the meta at the moment, but is causing fear in the community without a doubt.
