Lucas's aerial PK Fire.

PK Fire (called PSI Fire in the English version of Earthbound) is a special move that can be performed by both Ness and Lucas in their respective Smash games. It is a projectile attack performed with Forward-B. When performed on the ground, it travels in a straight line until it hits an enemy or destructible portion of the stage. If it does not hit either of the aforementioned objects within a few feet, then it disappears. When it hits, it creates a pillar of fire that blocks the enemy from passing through it. It can also be performed in the air, which causes the bolt to move in a diagonal fashion, similar to Sheik's needles.

Lucas' version of this attack works almost the same as Ness's version, except Lucas' PK Fire always travels in a horizontal fashion, and the fiery explosion seems to be far greater and does not produce a pillar of flames afterwards.

In Earthbound, the attack is actually not learned by Ness (something Paula's Trophy in Melee explains). It is described as a wave of fire shot from the fingers and is capable of damaging rows of enemies.
