The Ultimate Partnership (相棒とともに！ 最強コンビはどのファイター!?) was an Online Tourney event with a theme of fighters that work as a team, whether they be a two-in-one character or interchangeable. It ran from 6 a.m. on September 6, 2019 to 6 a.m. on September 9, 2019 (UTC). During the event, only certain characters can be used.
Description
North America
- This time-limited tourney features fighters who work as a group. The further you advance, the better the spirit you'll win![1]
PAL regions
- This time-limited Tourney exclusively features fighters who work as a group. The further you advance, the better the spirit you'll win![2]

- With a total number of 7 available fighters (9 if Pokémon Trainer's Pokémon are separated), The Ultimate Partnership has the least amount of available fighters for an Event Tourney.
- Thus far, this is the only Online tourney with more than one downloadable fighter in it, being Joker and Banjo & Kazooie.
