Classic Mode is a mode in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl that is similar to the Super Smash Brothers Single Player Mode. There is a difference between them though: in SSB, the battles you fought were always the same, whereas in SSBM, all the battles are chosen at random. Classic mode is shorter in SSBM then in SSB. One last difference is that the second bonus stage in SSB is board the platforms while in SSBM you collect the trophies.
Classic mode is similar to the one player mode in Super Smash Bros. However, it has more variation and a random factor to it since most of the characters and stages are chosen at random. Completing Classic Mode will earn you a trophy replica of your character (classic trophy).

In SSBB, the fights are organized by series. In the first fight, you will always fight someone from The Legend of Zelda series. Giant battles and such also return.

Classic mode is similar to the one player mode in Super Smash Bros. However, it has more variation and a random factor to it since most of the characters and stages are chosen at random. Completing Classic Mode will earn you a trophy replica of your character (classic trophy).

1. Standard one on one match.
2. Two on two match (the player is given a random ally to help them complete the match)
3. Break the targets bonus stage.
4. Standard one on one match.
5. Three on one match (the opponent is a giant and the player is given two random allies to help them complete the match).
6. Snag the trophies bonus stage.
7. Standard one on one match.
8. Ten on one match (the player is alone against a team of ten lightweight fighters that are easy to KO).
9. Race to the finish bonus stage.
10. Standard one on one match against a random metal character. This match always takes place on the Battlefield.
11. Master Hand battle on the Final Destination. If you are playing on normal or higher, finished in 15 minutes or less, and reached this stage without continuing, Crazy Hand will come out to aid Master Hand when Master Hand is half health.
