Warp (テレポート, Teleport) is Palutena's up special move in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate and in [Super Smash Bros. 4]
Overview
When Palutena uses this move, she vanishes, then reappears somewhere else nearby, depending on directional input from the player. She cannot attack or be attacked while using this move. She can also warp cancel, by warping right to the ledge, where she can then perform any special or aerial attack, and/or jump. This move bears a resemblance to many other related specials of other fighters.
Customization
Special Move customization was added in Super Smash Bros. 4. These are the variations:
1. Warp | 2. Jump Glide | 3. Rocket Jump |
---|---|---|
"Teleport in any direction. You can't attack or be attacked while warping." | "Jump into the air and glide around. Move faster by pressing left or right." | "Create an explosion at your feet that blasts you into the air. Also damages opponents." |
Origin
Warp is a movement-based power in Kid Icarus: Uprising exclusive to Together Mode. Using that power, a fighter can teleport to a random location within the arena. All its traits from Uprising, save for the randomness aspect, carry over into Smash 4.
