Kalne (かるね) is a Japanese Smasher who mains Zelda in Project M. Previously considered the best Project M player in Japan in 3.6, only really trading sets with Sugi, he is now ranked 2nd in Japan behind Kairi. He has a positive record in tournament against one of the few international players who visits Japan to play Project M, Charby. He also, uniquely, consistently plays Zelda along with Sheik in tournament in Melee, and is most likely one of the best Melee Zelda players in Japan. He is ranked 33rd on the Japan SSBM Rank 2017.
