From the looks of things, modding for Smash Ultimate is already possible ([https://gamebanana.com/games/6498 source]). Probably something to mention in the article. [[User:Magiciandude|Magiciandude]] ([[User talk:Magiciandude|talk]]) 17:43, 21 December 2018 (EST) |

Considering that the disbanding of ]SE[ took the link to the guide with it, can anybody find a new link to download it? I personally have it on my computer but I don't know how to upload it for anyone to get. Shade487z/SeniorSombra! 07:00, 1 January 2009 (UTC)
Yo, random IP who put that stuff about Syntax Error...[edit]
There was no lawsuit to begin with, as I mentioned, but rather, they were forced to disband thanks to fear of a lawsuit from the host site. Same thing caused other teams to have to change sites too. Nintendo's never really hit anybody up with a cease and desist. 'sides, someone from ]EE[ actually told the people as Stack Smash the truth of the matter, which was, as stated before you edited the page, a forced break up by the host site for FEAR of a lawsuit. So yeah...revertin' the edit. Shade487z 02:11, 13 May 2009 (UTC)
Music Hacks[edit]
Similar to Texture hacks to to the fact that they both incorporate file replacement codes, so should and where should it be put?Smoreking(T) (c) 16:38, 15 July 2009 (UTC)
Permanent?[edit]
Are hacked Characters & Stages permanently replaced?
- I know this is old, but hacks are not permanent. Just reset the game, or open up regular Brawl. (Oh, and don't forget to sign! :) ) Hylia's Eye (talk) 11:17, 6 April 2015 (EDT)
File replacement in Melee and SSB64[edit]
I've read that it is possible to replace textures in Melee and even Super Smash Bros.. Should the article cover file replacement in these games as well as in Brawl? Mousehunter321 (talk · contributions) 03:49, 12 September 2012 (EDT)
Mentioning a Model Replacement + The Clone Engine[edit]
Model replacements do count as hacks in this sense, but I'm not sure if anyone will contribute to this. Also, since the Clone Engine has been out for more than a year, I was wondering if it's OK to give credit. Hylia's Eye (talk) 15:25, 29 March 2015 (EDT)
SSB4 file replacement[edit]
How come there is no data on ssb4 file replacement? Is it because it's only about a year old? It is because there are extreme firewalls protecting the game?! Too crazy! Radfox35 21:07, 7 October 2015 (EDT)
Program for it?[edit]
Just a quick question. Does anyone happen to know the name of the program that is used to create Smash 4 mods?
I saw it myself, though brielfly so I don't know what it is. It would be nice to know, since 64, Melee and Brawl actually have programs to mod them.
Also, knowing the programs to mod both versions individually would be nice, too. Hylia's Eye (talk) 23:19, 4 June 2016 (EDT)
Unintended stuff in SSB4 article[edit]
In between the two files of the "fusion suit" Samus and the "Jumpman" Mario it randomly displays the word "file". I checked the code and didn't see what was causing it, though. What should be done about it?
