World of Light (灯火の星, The Star of Light) is the third Adventure Mode in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It revolves around the fighters teaming up with Spirits to defeat an "ultimate enemy" named Galeem. The mode will feature characters from various series, as well as bosses from previous Smash games, such as Galleom from The Subspace Emissary.

Trivia

  • The inverse of World of Light's Japanese name can be read as "Hoshī no Kābī" ("Kirby of the Stars"), the Japanese name of the Kirby series.
    • Because Kirby survived Galeem's fatal attack, Kirby is the starter playable for this mode.
