Pros & Cons
Pros
- High range
- Bombs and Boomerang are excellent projectiles that can disrupt and continue combos
- Can combo characters fairly well
- Huge grab range and little startup time for the hookshot
- Has powerful smash and aerial attaks
- Good edgeguarder that can utilize projectiles, aerials, tilts, and smashes to keep opponents away
- Up-B can be a good finisher and edgeguarding tool
- Can recover via bombs and Hookshot to keep him alive longer
- Shield is special and can block projectiles
Cons
- Sluggish
- Easily comboed
- Bombs can be caught and used against him
- High lag attacks and moderate startup times can make Link even more sluggish
- Spammers are easily punished due to the high cooldown time
PAL differences
