Lucario is a playable character in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. It was confirmed as a playable character on June 12th, 2018.
Changes from Super Smash Bros. 4
Aesthetics
- Lucario's fur is much more vibrant and visually detailed.
- The visual effects of Lucario's Aura are much smoother, and are now cyan/light blue in color instead of royal blue/indigo.
- Aura Sphere now has an "energy absorption" visual effect when charging, though it is unknown if this will add gameplay changes. It also now resembles an the move as it appeared in Pokemon Battle Revolution and the 3DS Pokemon games, and no longer emits a trail of smoke when thrown.
Special moves
- Double Team's counterattack activates faster.
