Young Link's moveset appears largely unchanged from Melee, but with a few noticeable exceptions. His rapid jab as a new animation and transitions into a finishing attack. He also appears to have a new animation where he raises his sword into the air.

It is safe to assune that he is a now a semi-clone, as he still shares some attacks with Link, but not as many due to changes in Link's moveset, and is not classified as an Echo Fighter (clone).
