The Smash Summit series, starting with Smash Summit in 2015, is a series of invitationals focusing on Super Smash Bros. Melee. Typically, a Summit features 16 players and spans several days, with Melee singles and doubles on the final days. The first days feature various side events focusing on Melee, sometimes on other games, and sometimes on other activities (such as Mafia).

10 players are chosen by the Summit team, and the remaining six are voted in by the public. Five Summits have taken place so far, with a sixth installment planned in 2018.
