Paula Polestar (ポーラ・ジョーンズ Pōra Jōnzu) is a character in the SNES games, EarthBound. She is the first playable character to join Ness' party. She sort of resembles Princess Peach, not only in appearance, but also in that she gets captured a several times in EarthBound. Her PSI moves are PK Freeze, PK Fire, PK Thunder, PSI Magnet and PSI Shield, the first four of which appear in the Super Smash Bros. series as the Special moves of Ness and Lucas, despite originally being used by Paula.

In Melee, Paula appears as a collectable trophy. Paula also appears as a medium-sized sticker in Super Smash Brothers Brawl available only for Lucas and Ness. It powers PK moves by 10.
