Tournament History
His first successful tournament was Kansai 2015 where he defeating all three top Kirby players Moyashi, Kysk and Fukurou and finished 3rd being eliminated by Jouske.
At Kanto 2015 he defeated Norwegian smasher Olikus and got defeated by Mexican smasher Mariguas in a close set, finishing 17th.
Together with Japanese champion Wario, he attended GENESIS 3 where he won against Lord Narwhal, Dext3r, KeroKeroppi without dropping a game. Most notably, he double eliminated Isai, 2-1 in Winner's Quarters against his Mario and 3-1 in Loser's Semis where Isai first chose to play Fox and switched to Pikachu when it was 2-1 for Wangera. In the final game and both players being on their last stock Isai missed an edge guard situation and self-destructed. This made Wangera the first player to win a tournament set against Isai's Pikachu. Wangera got double-eliminated by SuPeRbOoMfAn and placed 3rd.
At Kansai 2016 he lost against to Kirby players Fukurou and Keisuke and finished 5th.
His second US tournament was Super Smash Con 2016 where he won 2-0 against NaCl and Stranded before getting upset 2-3 by The Z. In losers he won 3-2 against Dext3r in an extremely close set with a timeout in game 5, where both players had one only stock left and Dext3r a small damage percent lead (55% - 64%) and tried to avoid getting hit. 5 seconds before a timeout Wangera hit him with a Nair to increase his damage percent to 66% and won the game by 2%. He then defeated Kurabba 3-0 and got eliminated 3-1 by Isai who played as Pikachu for the whole set. He later said that his performance was disappointing maybe because he didn't sleep well.
Kanto 2016 became his first major win. In the absence of top players Wario and Jouske he won in Winner's Finals 2-1 and in Grand Final 2-0 against Fukurou.
At Japan Smash Cup 2016 he reached Winner's Finals and then lost 0-2 against Wario and Fukurou to finish 3rd. At Kansai 2017 he got upset by Gyaki and Micchan and placed 5th (and lost to Tacos in pools). At Japan Smash Cup 2017 he won against Kurabba, Moyashi and Kysk but got double eliminated by Maha. At Kanto 2017 he placed 5th losing against Fukurou, who later won that tournament.
He then attended his third US tournament, Super Smash Con 2017, where he beat KD3, Dext3r, SleepyFox (LD) and Fukurou to reach Winners Finals. He then lost 0-3 against Kurabba and the rematch against Fukurou 2-3 and placed 3rd.
