Despite the great advancements brought to his metagame as well as decent results, however, Dedede's air speed was nerfed in update [[1.1.4]]. While minor, this nerf is notable in two ways: it worsened his neutral game and recovery, and it is now the slowest in the game, even slower than that of Shulk while using the [[Monado Arts|Shield Art]].
