Overview
Mr. Game & Watch's first appearance was in the Game & Watch Series (1980), created by Gunpei Yokoi. However, he wasn't given a name until SSBM, and his obscurity took many by surprise.
Mr. Game & Watch is unlocked by clearing Break the Targets with all twenty five characters, or alternatively, by playing 1,000 VS. Matches.
Clearing Classic Mode with Mr. Game & Watch will unlock Flat Zone, a level that takes place in a giant Game & Watch.

- Small and can crouch under projectiles
- Surprisngly strong with good priority for his attacks
- Can CG with all of his throws
- Can combo characters fairly well
- Huge vertical recovery distance
