Rotation is a Versus mode of play in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that lets those at home with more than four players swap out and take turns brawling. This mode works with 5-16 players, so if more than 16 would like to play, a tourney must be set up.
Rotation is a Versus mode of play in Super Smash Bros. Brawl that assists players in rotating players into and out of group brawls. Players can set up the mode to either swap out winners, losers or a combination of the two after matches, as well as swap out 1 to 4 players per match. Rotation supports up to 16 players.

Such a mode existed in Super Smash Bros. Melee (the previous installment before Brawl), but it was a part of its Tournament Mode as Winner Out/Loser Out Tournaments. However, in Super Smash Bros. Brawl itself, it is now its own mode (being a separate Group mode game); known as "Rotation". Both Tourney and Rotation are separate Group mode games in Brawl.
A mode similar to Rotation existed in Super Smash Bros. Melee as part of its Tournament Mode, as Winner Out and Loser Out Tournaments, though this interface was less streamlined and in-depth as Brawl's system.

Players can set up the mode to either swap out winners, losers or a combination of the two after matches, as well as swap out 1 to 4 players per match. Rotation supports up to 16 players.
