2GGC: Greninja Saga is an upcoming national Super Smash Bros. for Wii U tournament set to be held in Santa Ana, California on May 20th, 2017, organized by 2GGaming as the 4th event of their 2GG Championship Series.

The event will be dedicated to Greninja, and will feature several of the world's top Greninja players including Some, iStudying, Venia, and Oisiitofu, as well as other top players, such as ZeRo, Ally, Nairo, VoiD, Larry Lurr, komorikiri, and Ranai. The tournament's theme was decided during 2GGC: Civil War, in a round robin in which fans first nominated players, then voted for the character they would use; Ranai, using Greninja, won every set he played.

Originally, the event was scheduled for April 22nd, representing the series's "April Saga." However, issues arose when the short notice of the announcement (the theme was decided less than a month before the original tournament date) caused several top Greninja players to be unable to attend, among them Some due to work[1], and iStudying due to scheduling conflicts with ICARUS III, an Italian tournament he was set to be featured in[2]. Due to these conflicts, the tournament was delayed to May 20th, instead taking the place of the intended May Saga[3]. As a result, April Saga was entirely canceled, and a new Saga will be announced for later in the year to take its place.
