The only way a player can find a Suicune is to pursue it in areas with wild Pokémon. Suicune appears as the mascot in ''[[Pokémon Crystal]]''. The player can encounter Suicune in the Tin Tower in this game. Suicune also appears in the third generation games. In ''[[Pokémon FireRed & Leafgreen]]'', it can be found roaming the wild once the player triggers an event on the Sevii Islands. However, the player must have chosen Charmander as their starter in order to find Suicune.
