Kounotori (こうのとり, Stork) (or Kou) is a Falco player from Japan, known for his technical style of play as well as his precise and intricate combos. His first tournament in the US was GENESIS 2 in 2011, where he failed to make it out of pools. He has entered international tournaments such as Apex 2013 and EVO 2013, and has done relatively well in them, placing within the top to middle rankings.
He performed well at EVO 2016. He defeated Kira in winners before losing to Colbol. In losers he beat Jace and KillaforChicken before getting double eliminated by Colbol to get 33rd place.
