Kneato is a Tournament Director known for organizing some of Canada's largest events, including the McSmashter series and Summit. Though he lives in Rochester, New York, he is more active in the Ontario smash community, where he attended university in Hamilton.
A number of his tournaments held notable achievements, such as McSmashter 4, for being the largest Melee tournament in Canada at the time with 255 entrants as well as the largest Canadian Project M tournament of all time at 186 entrants, and for attracting Armada, who had never previously attended a tournament in the country. His tournament Summit was also notable for being the largest Canadian tournament at the time with 391 total entrants.
Kneato is noted to be a staunch supporter of Project M, having events hosted and streamed at his tournaments even after its soft ban by Nintendo.
