Background
2004-2006
Syke attended his first Smash meet in 2004; however, being new to the game and not knowing how to roll, he was 4-stocked constantly and humiliated by the other smashers. He has since trained almost everyday, sometimes up to 5 hours at a time. He entered the competitive scene by winning a tournament held by King Mos in late 2005. A key player in Tech's crew line-up and currently the number-one player in Queensland (Queensland Power Rankings), Syke is in charge of the filming and documentary of the Queensland tournaments. He is regarded as the best Marth player in Australia.
