Rainbow Cruise is another moving type of stage. Unlike [[Icicle Mountain]] and [[Big Blue]], the stage is never random. The route of the stage is a big oval, containing a ship, moveable and inmoveable platforms.  Characters begin the match on a floating ship that takes them to the left of the level. Once the ship sinks the camera pans up, making the characters follow or be killed by the blastlines.  At the top of the level is a giant pendulum, from here the camera moves right. These platforms are behave more like a typical stage, as there is no gaps or holes and for the most part immoveable by the competitors. As the stage progresses it eventually drops down to the once sunk ship.
The battle starts off on a flying ship. After about thirty seconds, the ship will sink. When the ship sinks, the characters will have to battle on the floating platforms on the left side of the sceen. The platforms are different and feature a rotating ax platform, flying carpets, and falling platforms. The stage will move in a counter-clockwise order and at the end will start back on the ship.
