Megavitamins is the Neutral B attack utilized by Dr. Mario in Super Smash Bros. Melee. This attack is nearly identical to Mario's Fireball move except it has a unique bounce arc, it falls faster, and it does more damage. Dr. Mario will push his hand forward and a megavitamin from the original Dr. Mario puzzle game will come out and bounce forward. If the megavitamin hits an opponent it will make a peculiar sound effect from the original game as well as when Dr. Mario releases the vitamin from his hand. If a vitamin is launched in mid-air it will fall diagonally like Mario's Fireball move.

Every time Dr. Mario releases a megavitamin each half of the vitamin will be either red, blue or yellow. This is imitating the original Dr. Mario game since the Tetris-like pieces that would fall were 2-colored vitamins. Here are all the possible color combinations for the attack: red light-red, red yellow, yellow light-yellow, yellow blue, blue light-blue, and blue red.

Megavitamins come in six color combinations of red, blue, and yellow. Dr. Mario uses these capsules by tossing them into contaminated bottle to destroy viruses. The origin of these wonder pills is a mystery, but the most likely theory is that they're the result of Dr. Mario's lifelong efforts to find a cure for the common cold.
