The name DUMMY is similar to an infamous glitch in the game ''Animal Crossing'', which produced a test item, named Dummy, which the developers forgot to remove. As both DUMMY and the Dummy were used for testing, the similarity is unsurprising.
 
A somewhat popular technique used in DUMMY is to add death lines, which the stage normally does not have, and then activate an infinite-double-jumping hack, allowing for a midair fight.

DUMMY is a stage which can only be found via Action Replay. When activated in Debug Mode, it crashes the game, though another hack can force the game to present the stage. Disappointingly, it just consists of empty space.
