15 December 2015: In the Final Video Presentation, Corrin and Bayonetta are confirmed as downloadable content newcomers for Super Smash Bros. 4, both scheduled to release in February 2016. Bayonetta will come with a new stage, the Umbra Clock Tower, while Corrin will come with new songs for the existing Fire Emblem stages. Cloud, Midgar, and the Chocobo Mii Fighter hat are confirmed to be released a few hours following the Direct, alongside a Mii Fighter costume based on Geno, and a number of other Mii Fighter costumes are scheduled for release with Corrin and Bayonetta.
10 December 2015: The twelfth official tier list for Super Smash Bros. Melee is released.
9 December 2015: Nintendo announces that the final video presentation dedicated to Super Smash Bros. for Nintendo 3DS and Wii U will take place on December 15th at 14:00 PT / 17:00 ET / 22:00 GMT, promising details on "Cloud and more".
1 December 2015: The Project M team announces that development on the mod in its entirety has ceased.
29 November 2015: At Umebura Niconico Qualifiers, Ranai, Choco, and Shu take 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place respectively in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U singles.
