Dr. Mario was introduced in Super Smash Bros. Melee and was a clone of Mario. In Melee, you can unlock him by completing classic mode with Mario or by playing Vs. mode 100 times.
Moveset
Regular attacks
- A: Left Jab
- A (second): Right Cross
- A (third): Toe Kick
- A (while dashing): Slide
- Side + A: Dr. Kick
- Up + A: Uppercut
- Down + A: Reflex test
- Smash A: Defribilator
- Smash Up + A: Ear, Nose and Throat
- A (in midair): Dr. Kick
- Forward + A (in midair): Dr. Punch
- Backward + A (in midair): Drop Kick, M.D.
- Up + A (in midair): Bicycle Kick
- Down + B (in midair): Bone Drill
- Z: Grab
- A (while holding opponent): Eye Exam
- Forward throw: Routine Physical
- Backward throw: Traction
- Up throw: Check Up
- Down throw: Hospital Bed
